Softball

Our church has a softball team every summer, and this is the first summer that we have been around to be part of it. Now, this might not surprise anyone, but I am not very sporty. Ok, I'm not sporty AT ALL. But somehow, I was convinced by Charlie and other friends from church that I should join the team. And I do like the fact that I can do something with Charlie that he really enjoys (and he is AMAZING at). With help from lots of sweet people, I actually was able to hit the ball on a couple of occassions. It's definitely a struggle for me, but I guess it's good to do things that don't come easily once in awhile.

Where was I getting? So yesterday, Charlie was playing a really good game and then all of the sudden he felt a pop in his hamstring. He pulled it really badly, but apparently he heals super fast because he stood on it all day and he can walk around still. Conclusion: Sports are dangerous, even on the "leisure league." I vote for singing instead.

Our First Try!

Well, here we are! This is our first time blogging, so we will see how it goes. The purpose of this blog is to document our last year here in Fort Collins before we move back to Arizona. It's been almost 2 years since Charlie and I got married. This is Charlie's 4th year of veterinary school at CSU and it's hard to believe it's already here. This should be a fun year, filled with lots of memories of our life here in Colorado.
